PU LLB : SYLLABUS
English Comprehension
This section will test the candidate’s proficiency in English based on comprehension Passage and Grammar. In the Comprehension section, they will be assessed on the understanding of passage given while, the grammar section focus on correction of incorrect grammatical sentences, fill in the blanks with appropriate word etc.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs
In this section, candidates will be assessed on their general awareness including static general knowledge. Questions will be based on current affairs.
Legal Aptitude
This is the most important section it tests the students interest towards law, problem-solving ability, research skills etc. In this section, students have to assess the given statement and bring out the logical answer as an outcome.
Logical Reasoning
It tests the candidate’s ability to identify the pattern, logical links and rectify arguments. In this section, questions are based on Sequences, Analogies, and Syllogisms etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.
EXAM PATTERN OF LLB 3 YEARS | 75 (50 marks for 50 multiple- choice questions and 25 marks for subjective type questions) |
• The subjective type questions shall be on writing and communication skill with legal aptitude.
• The objective type questions (other than testing” Knowledge of English”) will be available in the Hindi and Punjabi also. The subjective type questions will have to be answered in English only. |
