College fee for two semesters can be between 15000-27000 dollars. University fee can go up to 50,000 dollars. Students need around 700-800 dollars every month for other expenses. International student can work for 20 hrs. a week and hourly wages in Ontario is 14 dollars. 20 X14= 280 dollars are enough to meet all non-academic expenses. Working more than 20 hrs. is illegal and can affect studies and can delay your settlement.

Foreign nationals are required to obtain a study permit for engaging in academic, professional, vocational or other education or training, that is more than 6 months in duration at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.
