Skill Required

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Basics of Simulink/MATLAB/power system/machines/switchgear/power electronics/power system apparatus/high voltage engineering/about substation/power plant equipment’s.
  • MATLAB/SIMULINK- you should be thorough with this language. For solving every power system problems, you’ll not be able to carry 132KV transformers, circuit breakers, (every equipment) etc. along with you. So, in order to solve big problems related to power system, machines, etc. this will be your simulator and you’ll be easily able to solve any problem.
  • PLC/SCADA- It is used for industrial automation. So, if you are interested in joining automated companies, it’s a must.
  • You should know the basics of power system, machines, switchgear, control system, power electronics, Power apparatus system, modern control system, high voltage etc.
  • You should also know the difference between the transformer used in small projects and the transformer used in substations.
