The computer science engineering or information technology  industry is the range of businesses involved in designing computer hardware and computer networking infrastructures, developing computer software, manufacturing computer components, and providing information technology (IT) services.

There Are Two Main Elements Of Computer Engineering:

• Software Engineer/Programmer
• Hardware & Network Engineer

On the successful completion of the program, one can look at the following profiles:

• Software Engineer / Programmer: it is the part of computer software in which computer programmer/S.E makes computer programs in different programming languages such as c++, java, advance java, android, .net etc. once the program is completed the program is sent for the testing purpose to debug errors.
• Network Engineer/Administrator: Network administrator is an expert who manages the network of an organization. The duties of network administrator is installing, maintaining and upgrading any software or hardware required to efficiently run a computer network. The IT or computer network may extend to a local area network, wide area network, the Internet and intranets.
• Database Administrator: the database is the collection of information and thedatabase administrator (DBA) is a specialized computer systems administrator who maintains a successful database environment by directing or performing all related activities to keep the data secure.  Database administrator will often have a working knowledge and experience with a wide range of database management products such as Oracle-based software, SAP and SQL.
• Network Programmer: Computer network programming involves writing computer programs that enable processes to communicate with each other across a computer network. Network programmer makes such a program in which the machines connected in network and will send and receive data from other machine in the network by programming.
• Hardware Engineer: Computer hardware engineers research, design, develop, and test computer systems and components such as processors, circuit boards, memory devices, networks, and routers. H/w engg. Test the completed models of the computer hardware they design. Analyze the test results and modify the design as needed
• Ethical Hacking: Ethical hackers are employed Work through contracts or Direct employment to test the security of an organization. They use the same skills and tactics as a hacker, but with Permission of the system owner to carry out his attack against the system.
• Cloud computing:  cloud computing means storing or accessing your data over the internet. For example, Gmail is made available to the general public over the internet and is owned by a cloud provider.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

As the world is shrinking and is becoming more and more digital, the scope for Computer Science is on a rise. You must have heard people from other specializations (Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, etc.) working in the Computer Science area. While according to NASSCOM, by 2020, the Indian IT exports are expected to expand to the tune of US$ 175 billion. The domestic sector will account for US$ 50 billion!!! The computer industry has experienced an impressive growth within the past 15 years. It is the most preferred career option for those who wish to join the IT sector.
